Sony’s Sleepwalker Game Now Has a Locked Reddit Page, Announcement Expected Soon

Just earlier we discovered a couple of trademarks from Sony that mentioned a new game called “Sleepwalker” and something called “V” which we couldn’t wrap our heads around to understand what it could be.

Sony’s Sleepwalker Game Has Reddit Page Reserved

We now have more evidence that Sony will soon share news regarding “Sleepwalker,” and confirmation that it is indeed a video game. The company has secured the name on Reddit as well. There is a locked Reddit community page for Sleepwalker which is only accessible by mods at the time of this writing.

The company has secured the name on Reddit, it looks like. There is a locked Reddit community page for “Sleepwalker” which is only accessible by mods at the time of this writing.

The Reddit page is only 19 days old while the trademark we found was from December 2016. It is evident that Sony is working on either a new IP or this could also be a codename for a property we already know about.

A sequel to an existing IP?

All predictions at this point and it is only Sony that can shed some light over this. Sony’s E3 2017 press event will bring some news regarding new IPs, sequels, and the future of PlayStation.

“Sleepwalker” is an interesting name and I wonder who is the developer behind this game. BOULT WADE TENNANT registered the trademark on Sony’s behalf. BOULT WADE TENNANT previously filed for Decima Engine and Horizon Zero Dawn.

It is unlikely that Guerilla Games would reveal a new game so soon and Kojima, as we know, is working on Death Stranding. Naughty Dog is busy with Uncharted DLC and The Last of Us 2.

Sony Santa Monica will be at E3 with God of War 4 while Sony Bend is coming with Days Gone. Sucker Punch is working on an unknown¬†IP which could be “Sleepwalker.”

But we can’t say anything for sure until we hear from officials.
