Blizzard has revealed a new Legendary Quest card that will be part of the upcoming Journey to Un’Goro expansion pack for Hearthstone.
As previously announced, Quests are a new gameplay mechanic being introduced to the game. These Legendary cards come in two forms. In the beginning, a single Quest card can be added to a deck and which will always appear in the opening hand of the player at the cost of a single mana crystal. Once played, the player must fulfill certain conditions in order to complete the quest. Doing so will summon an extremely powerful card with great rewards.
For the Shaman class, players will have the option to begin their quest with “Unite the Murlocks” and start summoning at least ten Murlocs. A successful follow-through will get them “Megafin,” a 5-mana Legendary card with 8/8 attack/defense properties.
The card also features a Battlecry that fills the player’s hand with random Murlocs. Without any clarification, we’re assuming that Megafin will gather Murlocks not just from the deck but the game.
Previously, Blizzard confirmed “Awaken the Makers” which will require a player to summon seven minions with Deathrattles. The reward for doing so will be “Amara, Warden of Hope,” who sets your hero’s health to 40 and boasts 8-8 attack/defense for just five mana.
Journey to Un’Goro is the upcoming new expansion pack for Hearthstone and is penned for release early next month. According to an Amazon listing, the expansion is scheduled to release in the first week of April. Blizzard is yet to confirm the release date.
Over a week ago, the developer announced that it would be increasing the pricing of Hearthstone purchases for Europe later this month. However, the increased pricing will not affect the pre-orders of Journey to Un’Goro. It should be noted that once the expansion is released, its pricing will be updated in the store to reflect the new changes.
