Mass Effect Andromeda New Game+

The option to start a New Game + appears after players have completed the entire Priority Ops quest chain and the feature is unlocked when the save system detects that the main story of the game has been completed once.

When starting the second run, most of the player’s stats carry over which means they can crank up the difficulty even further for a challenge better suited for their high level character. Players will also be able to once again customize their character and go through the custom character creator for history and training selection.

Apart from stats, the players also retain their skill points, learned powers, non-mission items, research data and credits which can be used to purchase stuff from vendors.

However, not everything carries over in Mass Effect Andromeda New Game + mode as mission progression, cryo pod perks, codex entries and narrative choices reset so players get a full refreshed experience of the game once again, just with a boosted character.

Players will still retain their old save files as long as they don’t overwrite them if they are inclined to go back to their first playthrough of the game and play with a normal character.
