Respawn Entertainement Is Focused On The “Long Term Future” Of Titanfall Franchise

Titanfall 2 launched last year with great critical acclaim and Respawn Entertainment has been supporting the game with new content. The studio will soon detail the march DLC for the game and the devs are not stopping there.

According to Respawn Entertainment, they are focussed on the future of the franchise as more DLC will be released for the second game in the franchise in coming months and the studio is also working on prototypes for future projects set in the game’s universe.

Titanfall 2 remains healthy and growing with new players coming in every week. Right now we’re focused on the long term future of Titanfall and we’re excited about it. The core Titanfall team is working away on lots of cool stuff, whether that be DLC for Titanfall 2, action blocks and prototypes for future Titanfall projects, or other crazy science experiments. We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to take you, our Community, along for this ride.

Respawn Entertainment is also working on an unannounced Star Wars title, however, the studio has clarified that they won’t be talking about their Star Wars title anytime soon.

Titanfall isn’t the only game being worked on here at Respawn. Stig Asmussen, who previously worked on the God of War franchise, has been leading a separate team that has been quietly working away on our Star Wars title. That project is still wrapped in secrecy and we won’t be talking about it for a while.

Also, there are multiple Star Wars games in development including Star Wars Battlefront 2 which will launch this year. Visceral Games is also working on an action adventure Star Wars title and former uncharted director, Amy Hennig, is directing it.

Titanfall 2 is a first-person action shooter developed by Respawn Entertainment for PC, Xbox One and PlayStaiton 4.
