The GTX 1080 Ti is the top of the line GPU from Nvidia which has now taken the throne from the GTX 1080. It also provides the performance of the Titan XP without costing as much and that is incentive enough to buy one.
3 EVGA GTX 1080 Ti models will be coming out and they are as follows:
- GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition GAMING
- GTX 1080 Ti SC2 GAMING
- GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 GAMING
There will be no reference design model from EVGA and that is not something that consumers will miss as plenty of others partners are introducing their take on the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti reference design.
EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition And SC2 GAMING
SC Black Edition and SC2 Gaming versions are similar to one another and feature dual fan designs. They have the iconic axial fans for better cooling and low noise. Both GPUs require two 8-pin and 6-pin PCIe connectors respectively. Unlike the reference model, these GPUs will come with a DVI-D port.
While the GPUs do not have RGB lighting they do have the white LED logo and it is important to note here that only the SC2 model will have iCX sensors. Both these GPUs also come with backplates.
EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3
The 1080 Ti FTW3 GAMING is the top of the line model from EVGA and with the GPU you get a 10 + 2 phase power delivery system. You will need dual 8-pin connectors in order to power this GPU. The GPU has RGB lighting and also comes with a backplate. The triple fan design is sure to keep the GPU cool even under load.
As of right now, we do not know how much these GPUs will cost but reports claim that these will be coming out before May.
Let us know what you think about the EVGA 1080 FTW3 and the other models that EVGA will be bringing to the table soon.
