Prey is a couple of months away from launch and Arkane Studios has been revealing new details about the game. This time the studio has revealed a new Prey trailer detailing various alien species in the game.
This new Prey trailer highlights the different types of aliens that players will encounter in the game. The most prominent alien that players will encounter in the game are mimics which can disguise itself as almost anything. The trailer also highlights other aliens like Weaver, Phantom, and Telepath.
Prey is being developed by Dishonored developer Arkane Studios and the game will feature multiple endings. According to lead designer Ricardo Bare, the game will have multiple endings and it will all depend on the players’ choice regarding the space station and the characters that are still alive. However, there will be two main endings, the rest will be variations of these two.
Without giving you spoilers, I would describe the endings as essentially two main branches. You’re gonna be making some pretty big decisions about the space station and the people aboard the space station. But then within those main branches, there are tons of permutations, and a lot of it has to do with what you did and how you treated survivors that you encounter.
He also added that they have done a lot of playtests for Prey and the game takes around 16 to 22 hours to complete. However, he noted that it may vary depending on players’ play style.
Prey is an upcoming first-person shooter in development at Arkane Studios and will launch on May 5, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
