It seems that Naughty Dog is not yet done with Uncharted 4 multiplayer DLCs as the studio has announced a live stream event where they will preview the upcoming Uncharted 4 multiplayer DLC.
According to Naughty Dog, the upcoming Uncharted 4 multiplayer DLC will be previewed on Wednesday, March 13. The studio will highlight new weapons and vanity items and will offer live gameplay alongside an overview of the update.
All of this will be followed by a question and answer session with the developer. According to Naughty Dog’s Scott Lowe:
This upcoming update is the latest milestone in our Uncharted 4 Multiplayer roadmap, which began shortly after the game’s launch and has introduced new maps, modes, customization items, and more–all as free updates to the game. And we’re not done yet–our Spring DLC drop is still to come.
Naughty Dog is also working on a standalone expansion for Uncharted 4, Uncharted The Lost Legacy, which will launch later this year. The expansion will feature Chloe in the lead role.
However, Naughty Dog has said that an Uncharted game is highly unlikely after Uncharted The Lost Legacy. Studio co-president Evan Wells said that another Uncharted game from Naughty Dog is very unlikely after Uncharted: The Lost Legacy as the studio has a lot of stuff going on for it.
He further explained that the studio really loves the Uncharted series but ” but the studio has limited resources and lots of other ideas”.
As for the Uncharted: The Lost Legacy game director Kurt Margenau has revealed that the chemistry between the both characters will be exciting in Uncharted The Lost Legacy.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is scheduled to launch later this year exclusively for PlayStation 4.
