Star Studded Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy Cast Revealed During PAX East

PAX East 2017 finally treated Marvel and Telltale Games fans to a huge piece of information including the list of Guardians of the Galaxy cast.

Since the game is not a part of the main Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Guardians of the Galaxy cast does not include actors who are part of the movie. Nonetheless, the voice cast for the game is definitely star-studded.

Some of the revealed Guardians of the Galaxy cast members include Scott Porter from Telltale’s Minecraft as Star Lord, Emily O’Brien as Gamora, Nolan North as Rocket, Brandon Paul Eells as Drax and Adam Harrington as Groot.

Nolan North, best known as the voice of Nathan Drake besides numerous other amazing voice acting roles, has voiced Rocket Raccoon in the past as well in Disney Infinity 2.0 while the others are new talents to the Marvel property but definitely not new to voice acting for games.

A press release from Telltale’s PAX panel also revealed a bit more information about the game’s story besides what had already been mentioned.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series is a brand new story of the universe’s unlikeliest heroes: Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot. In the wake of an epic battle, the Guardians discover an artifact of unspeakable power. Each of them has a reason to desire this relic, as does a ruthless enemy who is the last of her kind, and who will stop at nothing to tear it from their hands.

Telltale also shared some new screenshots from the game which combines the usual Telltale art style with space resulting in a pretty good looking point and click adventure.
