New Logitech G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Arrives for Esports Enthusiasts

The new Logitech G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard promises a competitive edge with a new compact design for efficiency and portability.

By taking away the numerical keypad and dedicated macro keys, the long-time peripheral manufacturer ensures that players no longer have to worry about space or travelling concerns.

In addition, the keyboard features a detachable USB cable to curb the continuous practice of wrapping the peripheral during transportation, which only leads to deterioration over time.

Durability is a key selling point when it comes to the company’s new product. A “super-strong steel back-plate” and reinforced frame provides greater stability and rigidity during gameplay.

Unsurprisingly, the keyboard uses the company’s signature Romer-G mechanical switches that were introduced a couple of years back. Without confusing newcomers with too much technical jargon, just know that the Romer-G mechanical switches feel like “Cherry MX Brown switches with O-rings installed.”

With the claim of over 70 million presses, the switches should last longer than the standard Cherry MX versions in the market. It should also be noted that the switches boast a lower actuation distance compared to the Razer Blackwidow.

“A perfect blend of speed, precision and quiet performance, Romer-G is the stealth assassin of mechanical gaming keyboard switches,” claims Logitech.

In its goal to improve performance even further, Logitech made the keyboard ultra responsive by adjusting its Keystroke Signal Processing (KSP). In other words, the Logitech G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard communicates with your system faster, reducing any in-game lag, even if it is in microseconds.

As for other features, the keyboard comes with customized RGB lighting and an on-board memory.
