Only a couple of days have gone by since the announcement of the GTX 1080 Ti and we are already hearing about partners and their versions of the GPU.

Here we have the Inno3D GTX 1080 Ti which features the iChill cooling technology and has the special Herculez backplate.

I have to say that this is a very aggressive looking card and I mean that in a good way. There are some unconventional features as well. There are three fans as we have seen on other versions of the GTC 1080 Ti but there is also an additional smaller fan on the top.

As of right now, I do not know whether that will work on the final product or if it is just for looks but my bet is that it will be a functional fan.

The Inno3D GTX 1080 Ti appears to be seriously long and bulky but then again this is a GPU that will be coming out for enthusiasts so it would make sense that the company has made a beast of a GPU and used nothing but premium materials for the GPU.

According to Ken Wong, Inno3D’s Product Manager:

“I believe gamers will love our new iChiLL gaming GPU. The entire series of GeForce GTX 1080 Ti comes with extreme performance, and we have used the highest quality components worthy of such a product. The iChiLL cooling solution makes the INNO3D custom-built graphics card to be the perfect weapon for every gamer”.

The product manager seems to be very confident in the product and looking at the GPU even I would be if I was him. I am looking forward to seeing how this GPU performs as compared to the reference design as well as other variants from different partners. Let’s see if all this bulk can translate to additional performance or not.
