The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild House Upgrades

After getting your own house in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you can customize it in a few different ways.

There are quite a handful of customization options available in the LoZ: BotW – some of these options are pretty useful while others are purely cosmetic.

The first thing that you need to know is that each house upgrade in the game costs 100 rupees. This section provides an overview of all upgrades

Weapon Displays

Weapon Mount
This allows you to display three weapons of your choice inside your home. Since you can only have 8 weapons in your inventory at a time, this is a good idea to save some weapons for later use.

Bow Mount
This allows you to display three bows of your choice inside your home. Similar to Weapon Mount, you can save a couple of bows in your home if you don’t have plenty of inventory space to spare.

Shield Mount
This one is pretty self-explanatory! It allows you to display three shields of your choice inside your home.

Interior

Bed
This is a normal bed you can sleep on. It’s important to remember that you won’t receive additional heart for sleeping on it.

Lighting
This installation is purely for aesthetic purposes. If you want some cool-looking lights in your house, this one should do it.

Door
This allows you to install a front door in your house – doesn’t really have an impact in the game. Purely cosmetic!

Exterior

Nameplate
This allows you to place a nameplate in front of your house. Pretty simple!

Flowerbed
If you wish to enhance the beauty of your place, you can grow some flowers all around your house.

Trees
This installation goes well with the flowerbed as it will allow you grow a few small trees around your house. Quite refreshing if you ask me!
