No Gears and Halo At E3 2017 According To Phil Spencer

During a recent IGN podcast, Xbox boss Phil Spencer talked about some hot topics, including games. He said that there won’t be any Gears or Halo announcements at E3 2017, so don’t expect to hear anything on them soon. On top of that, Microsoft is not working with Remedy at the moment.

This is what Phil Spencer said:

It will be a very interesting year for us since we’ll have any Gears or Halo games. We’ll probably announce something we still haven’t talked about. I can officially say that there’s no agreement between us and Remedy. We aren’t working with them on new games.

Also, Spencer talked about the upcoming Netflix-style service for Xbox One: Xbox Game Pass. Spencer said that this service has been in the works for over two years; as far as the games are concered, it’s up to the developers to choose what to do with them.

But there was even space for the Scalebound question. Microsoft has learnt a lot from it and now on, they won’t be announcing games too soon, in order to prevent fans from getting hungry.
