More News About Destiny 2 Revealed By Bungie, Character Transfer and More

Bungie has announced new information on the upcoming Destiny 2 in a recent update released on their website

The company has thought for a lot of time about ways to approach the game, and they have taken a decision that won’t make players so happy:

Sequels are the start of a new adventure for everyone, with new worlds to explore, new stories to tell, new powers to acquire, new loot to earn, and much more. So we have taken a decision that would enable us to serve both the game and the player’s best interests: Destiny 1 power, possessions, and Eververse-related items and currency will not be carried forward. They will, however, remain accessible to you in Destiny 1

But don’t worry. Those who’ve reached Light Level 20 and have completed the mission called ‘The Black Garden’ will be able to keep the physical traits for their guardians!

However, Bungie is putting a lot of effort into the development of Destiny 2 and some developers from Vicarious Visions, the team working on Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, have joined them.

The team has talked about the steady stream of content for Destiny 2:

Beyond that, the incredible demand for Destiny content has rather outpaced our ability to deliver upon that demand, and going forward along with our partners at Bungie, have put together what we believe is a very effective approach that will allow us to deliver the steady stream of great content to keep our players engaged and keep our universe alive and growing in the wake of that sequel.

Destiny 2 will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC somewhere in 2017.
