Zelda: Breath of the Wild Master Sword Location Guide – How To Get The Unbreakable Weapon

Master Sword is an Unbreakable weapon in Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild and is undoubtedly one of the best weapons available in the game. As the name suggests, it cannot be damaged and doesn’t have a durability meter so players don’t have to worry about it ever being destroyed.

Of course such an amazing weapon shouldn’t be easy to come by and the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Master Sword is by no means easy to acquire. This Master Sword location guide should help players with tracking down and acquiring the weapon with relative ease.

Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Master Sword Location

The sword is in a grove inside the Great Hyrule Forest, northeast of Central Hyrule. To reach the area, players need to go through the Woodland Stable and continue on to the path until they reach the Lost Woods. From there, they need to proceed towards the Korok Forest.

Once at the entrance of the forest, players need to light up a torch at the nearby brazier since the torch will be their main guiding tool inside the forest. The torch flame will tilt in certain directions and players need to follow those and go wherever the flame takes them.

However, the forest is filled with fog which can teleport players back to the start. Whenever it seems to be thickening around the player, they should retrace their steps back a bit and avoid the fog.

The flame will eventually guide the players to where the sword is stuck inside a stone. To actually pick up the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Master Sword, players will need to have 13 heart containers.

While the sword is unbreakable, to balance things out it has a cooldown period before it can be used again in combat after it has been depleted of its charges so players should always keep an eye out for that to make sure they don’t trigger the cooldown in the heat of battle.
