There has been some space to show Injustice 2 character customization during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. Based on the feedback provided by the attendees, the RPG feeling is pretty strong here as the game gives you a lot of freedom when it comes to make changes to the characters.
Basically, the main way to get gear is by winning offline/online matches, but you can also earn some by buying Mother Boxes with gold. Gold is given after a match.
Gear can buff at least one of the character’s main stats including Strength, Ability, Defense and Health. You can assemble your own armor/costume. Otherwise, you can try to buy full gear sets, but remember that they are very expensive since they can grant powerful bonuses.
As if customization wasn’t good enough, the game allows you to apply shaders to the color schemes of you character and customize his/her fighting styles.
Wanna play the classical way? No problem. NetherRealm has introduced to the game a special tournament in which the character stats are reset, keeping the visual changes at the same time.
The general feeling is the game will provide a lot of fun, thanks to the Injustice 2 character customization options.
Injustice 2 is launching on May 16, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
