Hearthstone: Daily Login Rewards Data-Mined From Patch Files

When Blizzard announced “Year of the Mammoth” last week, it mentioned Daily Login rewards that would be introduced to Hearthstone for the first time.

While the patch notes from yesterday made no mention of any such feature, data-miners were able to dig through the new update to unearth interesting details pertaining to a variety of rewards that the Hearthstone community will be able to receive by simply logging in every day.

As stated by Blizzard previously, the Daily Login rewards will run for only a limited period of time. According to HearthPwn, that will be just the first week after the new expansion releases in April. However, there is evidence that the developer might extend it to last another additional week.

Coming over to the rewards, visiting the Tavern every day will net you Gold, Arcade Dust, as well as card packs from both previous and new expansion packs.

  • Day 1: 50 Gold
  • Day 2: 1 Mean Streets of Gadgetzan Pack
  • Day 3: 100 Arcane Dust
  • Day 4: 1 Old Gods Pack
  • Day 5: 1 Journey to Un’Goro Pack
  • Day 6: 50 Gold
  • Day 7: 1 Journey to Un’Goro Pack
  • Day 8 – 14: 50 Gold

Regular attendance during the first week will get you 450 Gold, 100 Arcade Dust, 2 card packs of Journey to Un’Goro, 1 card pack of Mean Streets of Gadgetzan, and 1 card pack of Whispers of the Old Gods in total. That’s not bad at all.

The Hearthstone community would be wishing for Daily Login rewards to continue indefinitely. Blizzard is probably testing the feature to crunch some data. The positive reception will likely see the developer announce it as a permanent feature for Hearthstone.

Yesterday, Blizzard announced Journey to Un’Goro as the next expansion pack for the free-to-play card game. It is themed around the primal beings and elemental powers that reside within the infamous Warcraft crater. This means that there will be dinosaurs, and a bunch of new features that promise to change the way Hearthstone is played.
