Splatoon 2 Splat Roller Will Have Two Different Speeds In Game

Many a veteran Splatoon player knows that the Splat Roller is one of the most feared weapons in the game, being able to one-shot an Inkling both when you’re rolling it along the ground, or when you flick paint off of it as a distance account.

The Splatoon 2 splat roller, however, will be different.

According to a Twitter post about the change, the Splatoon 2 splat roller will be have two different speed modes; the normal mode, which is the default version, or with the press of a shoulder button, you can make the splat roller go faster.

This can help when it comes to multiplayer matches, as with so many other weapons that are ranged instead of close-up, a speed boost can you get to your target faster. It could also be a good way to get yourself out of danger if you’re caught out in the open.

The splat roller isn’t going to be the only weapon getting some changes in the game; with a sequel will be new weapons along with it, and considering how popular the first Splatoon was, we’ll likely get others.

We’ve already gotten at least one map sneak peek, so hopefully we’ll be getting more information about some of the new weapons that will be in the game to go along with it.

Splatoon 2 is the sequel to the original Splatoon, which came out on the Wii U and was one of its most popular late-term games. While the sequel isn’t going to be coming out on March 3 along with the Nintendo Switch, hopefully it’ll be just as good when it does come out.

Hopefully we’ll be getting some more information not just on the Splatoon 2 splat roller, but also on all of the other weapons that the game is going to have in it.
