Our Horizon Zero Dawn Power Cells Locations guide will help you to locate all the Power Cells in the game so you can unlock a new armor that will make Aloy near invincible.
Finding all of the Power Cells is part of the Ancient Armory side quest. You will have to find all Power Cells in order to unlock the secret Shield Weaver Outfit and also earn the “Got the Shield-Weaver Outfit” trophy.
Power Cells are located in certain mission areas, however, you can return to these areas after completing the mission, but before completing the mission these areas are locked.
Furthermore, if for some reason you die while completing the mission you will have to pick them up again unless you have reached the next checkpoint after collecting them.

Horizon Zero Dawn Power Cells Locations
Power Cell #1 Location
The first Power Cell can be found while free roaming after completing the prologue as a young Aloy. To get the Power Cell all you have to do is return to the area where Aloy found her Focus device and you will have to retrace your steps through the barracks and then go down the stairs and you will reach a closed door.
Open the door ahead and go through the offices and head back upstairs. At the top, you will find a room but the doorway will be blocked by some rock formations. Just smash through the rocks using your spear and collect the Power Cell from the desk.
Power Cell #2 Location
The second power cell in HZD can be found in All-Mother Temple which you will access during the Womb of the Mountain quest. You will find the Power Cell in the side room on the right after waking up in the mountain on the first floor.
Go through the hole in the wall to get to the power cell. If you miss the power cell the area will be locked until you have beaten the main quest “The Heart of the Nora” which you will access at the end of the game.
Power Cell #3 Location
The next Power Cell can be found in Maker’s End, this area can be accessed during the main quest of the same name. To get your third Power Cell in Horizon Zero Dawn you will have to scale the F.A.S. building all the way up to Faro’s Office near the end of the mission.
From here you will have to scale the tower at the east end of the office and scale to the very top of the tower and at the very top, you will find your Power Cell.
Power Cell #4 Location
The next Power Cell in Horizon Zero Dawn can be collected during the mission called Grave Hoard. You will find the Power Cell in the starting of the mission. All you have to do is solve the puzzle to unlock the door. Once the door has been unlocked just go through it and you will find the Power Cell on the ground on the other side of the door.
Power Cell #5 Location
The fifth and final Power Cell in HZD can be found in GAIA Prime area which you will access during the Mountain That Fell mission. Once your conversation with Sylens in his workshop is over just climb down the elevator and then rappel down to the ruins.
From here take a left instead of right to the mission and then walk towards the north. Climb up the rubble and enter the blue lit cave ahead and on a shelf, you will find your final Power Cell.
