Horizon: Zero Dawn Gets A 40 Minutes Video, Covers the Introduction
A 40 minutes long Horizon: Zero Dawn gameplay video has been shared that introduces you to the game and the beauty of its environments.
Of course we suggest you not to watch this video if you don’t want to be spoiled anything about the game and its plot.
Said video has been taken on a PlayStation 4 Pro with 1080p resolution and it doesn’t feature a commentary, so you’ll be able to immerse yourself in the gameplay pretty easily.
Horizon Zero: Dawn main character is Aloy, a girl trying to find her place in the world after living in the same place for years. She’s become very popular in the industry, but Guerrilla Games suggests that the sequel of Horizon: Zero Dawn might feature a different protagonist.
It was Guerrilla’s senior producer Angela Gillespie, during a chat with the folks at Gamereactor, the one who has stated that there are other characters that can potentially become the protagonists of the next game.
According to her, Aloy will always be part of the Horizon: Zero Dawn universe, but there are a lot of characters and tribes in the game that the team has spent years developing, so there’s possibility for other characters to take the lead role in the sequel of this acclaimed title.
Furthermore, Horizon: Zero Dawn has an impressive weather system that should have featured random lighting. This feature was present in the first versions of the game, but it was taken out because Guerrilla thought it was unfair.
Horizon: Zero Dawn is an RPG action-adventure videogame by Guerrilla Games and will release on March 1st, 2017, for PlayStation 4 only.
