The launch of Horizon Zero Dawn is just around the corner and gamers are eager to get their hands on the game. Guerrilla Games has released a new Horizon Zero Dawn video detailing the skills and abilities in the game.
In this video, game director Mathijis de Jonge states that when the team started to work on the game it had the idea about how deep the RPG systems should be and how much the game should lean towards the action.
According to the managing director Hermen Hulst, Horizon: Zero Dawn is essentially an RPG that plays like an action game, meaning that the devs had to maintain the quality of the combat while maintaining the fluidity of an action game.
Horizon Zero Dawn has not been released yet but the hype for the game is very high and according to a report, the game will sell 6 million units by the end of 2017.t The report from Superdata suggests that Horizon Zero Dawn will shift 6 million units by the end of this year.
According to the report, the game could potentially sell 8 million units for its lifetime sales which will put it with likes of Uncharted 4 and Metal Gear Solid V.’
Also, Guerrilla Games has indicated that Horizon Zero Dawn sequel might feature a different protagonist despite Sony wanting to make, Aloy, the next PlayStation icon. According to Guerrilla Games’ senior producer Angela Gillespie, there are other characters in the game that can potentially take the lead role in the game’s Sequel.
Horizon Zero Dawn is an open-world action adventure game developed by Guerrilla Games and is scheduled to launch on February 28, 2017, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
