The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is something that tech enthusiasts have been anticipating for some time now and word has it that it will be announced at the GDC event in the coming days.
New rumors also suggest that the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 Ti could also be in the works. This is something unheard of until now, but it could be so.
As of right now, we do not know whether the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 Ti is ready and whether or not Nvidia will be talking about it at the upcoming event but we can speculate that the card could feature the GP104 GPU as the standard version already uses the GP106 GPU.
It is also possible that the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 Ti could be a cut-down version of the GTX 1070 with 6 GB VRAM instead of 8 GB compared to the GTX 1070.
In that case, the GPU would feature a lower CUDA core count and a 192-bit memory interface.

It will not be surprising if Nvidia does choose to introduce the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 Ti as the company has put a lot of money into the research and development of Pascal and getting that money back would be the right move, at least in financial terms.
As of right now, we are all waiting for tomorrow’s event to come so that we can learn more about the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti but knowing that another card, the GTX 1060 Ti could also be making its way sometime in the future is also interesting.
If you were in the market for a new GPU then it may be wise to hold off a bit longer as you might be getting the GTX 1060 Ti and it would be a bummer if you settled for less a few weeks before the GPU comes out.
Let us know whether you would be interested in the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 Ti or not.
