Final Fantasy XV is not coming to the hybrid console, Nintendo Switch, but that does not mean the director for the game is not a fan of the upcoming hybrid console.
Speaking with Polygon, Final Fantasy XV director, Hajime Tabata, shared his thoughts on Nintendo Switch. According to Tabata, given that Nintendo Switch is a hybrid console it is fascinating for him given that he has developed games for home consoles and handheld devices and added that he would like to develop for the system.
I’ve worked on handheld titles, but I’ve also worked on console games. So the fact that Switch is both at the same time is really fascinating to me. I’m really interested in coming up with ideas and how to capitalize on that technology and how to create the best experience possible on the technology. But I’m not quite sure that I have it yet.
He further praised the portability of the console saying that it is accomplishing three tasks with one machine and “it’s kind of like the dream machine”.
While Nintendo Switch is less than a week away from launch, according to a report, there is apparently a Joy-con connectivity issue with the console.
This connection issue was encountered while playing Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild and it is most frequent in the left Nintendo Switch Joy-con controller. According to the report, this issue sometimes occurs while browsing the system’s menu.
Nintendo Switch will launch on March 3, 2017, and will be priced at $299.99 in the US.
