Russian Nvidia Fanboy Who Murdered AMD Fanboy Friend Got Sentenced To 10 Years In Prison

Talk about taking branding to a whole new level, we recently talked about an Nvidia fanboy that killed his friend recently over an heated argument regarding which company made the better GPU, AMD or Nvidia. Now we have word that the person in question has been sentenced to 9.5 years in jail.

I know we talk about AMD and Nvidia going to war against one another but that is just a figure of speech and it turns out that these two have taken things way too seriously. Jail time will set things straight for 31-year-old Aleksander Trofimov who murdered 37-year old Evgeny Lylin from Saransk, Russia.

The crime actually took place on 16th September 2016 but the conviction happened only yesterday after the person in question admitted to the crime. As of right now, it seems that the violent action was due to drinking and something else mixed within.

Police revealed that the cause of death was pressure around the throat which means that the victim was suffocated with bare hands. Something which seems to be inhumane. I would say that the Nvidia fanboy was at the wrong place at the wrong time in the wrong state of mind. But he has now been punished accordingly.

Even though a sentence like this is no compensation for the life that has been lost. I am sure that it will be some relief for the relatives of the victim to know that the person behind the murder has been punished accordingly.

I think we should all learn from this incident and know that even though we may have conflicting views about companies and current affairs we should know where the line is and we need not cross it.

Let us know what you think about this Nvidia fanboy and his sentence for murdering an AMD fanboy.
