Recently, AMD discussed the much awaited Ryzen Lineup so we have plenty of information out in the wild. Ryzen Lineup will officially hit stores on March 2, 2017.
- Ryzen 7 1800X $499
- Ryzen 7 1700X $399
- Ryzen 7 1700 $329
Considering the price tag of AMD Ryzen 7 1800X, just $499, it is truly an amazing feat seeing AMD launch an 8-core 16 thread processor that performs even better than Intel’s Core i7 6900K at half the price.
AMD had been playing catch-up with Intel’s Core processor lineup for quite a while now and it is finally nice to see them having caught up with their rivals. Even if the processor performance isn’t something which Intel chips are lacking, the price-performance ratio makes up for it since users can get the best CPU in the market right now for $500 instead of having to spend above a $1000.
Since the market is dominated by Intel’s CPUs, the new, fast and promising Ryzen Lineup will surely shake the market biasing. Additionally, more and more motherboard manufacturers are inclined towards Ryzen that they are introducing exclusive motherboards for Ryzen Cpus. Gigabyte, Asus, ASRock are recent partners who have announced motherboards exclusive for Ryzen family.
The reason more and more manufacturers are interested towards Ryzen lineup is due to its overclocking freedom. This is the strong selling point about Ryzen, even mid-range CPUs have overclocking feature.
