NieR Automata is a PC and PlayStation 4 exclusive and Platinum Games has explained why. According to producer Yosuke Saito, the main reason for not releasing NieR Automata for Xbox One is that the market for the console in Japan is not very strong.
However, the possibility of the game coming to Xbox One is not out of the question, as Platinum Games has stated that they are considering to release NieR Automat for Xbox One but that will only happen if the sales are good for PC and PS4 versions.
Platinum Games promised another thing if NieR Automata sells well. According to the devs, NieR remaster is a possibility if NieR Automata sells like hot cakes.
NieR Automata is an upcoming action RPG developed by Platinum Games and is scheduled to launch on March 7 in North America and March 10 in Europe for PC and PlayStation 4.
