Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild has taken some inspiration from the western RPGs. However, this is no coincidence as the series producer has revealed that he played a lot of western games while developing Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild.
Speaking with GameInformer, Eiji Aonuma listed games like Far Cry, The Witcher III, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as his favorites. He added that GTA V was too violent for him and he did not play any western games before but realized that this is not a good practice as playing these games gave him new ideas.
In the past I didn’t play many video games. But then I realized, this isn’t right, I have to. So nowadays, I actually play a lot of overseas titles. While playing those games, I do find some ideas, but it’s not that it connects directly to Zelda to where I would take something and use it in Zelda, but it’s more of something I keep in the back of my head while developing the game.
Also, the Wii U version of the upcoming game has reportedly been leaked. However, there’s no ticket file to actually play the game yet. Also, a high-quality image of the title screen has also emerged and a folder of sound effects of the game is also available.
As there is no ticket file to play the game, so we might not see any spoilers for the game as no one will be playing the leaked game, but be careful nonetheless as you may not know what will pop up on the internet.
Legend Of Zedla Breath Of The Wild is an open-world action adventure game developed by Nintendo and is scheduled to launch on March 3, 2017, for Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
