The 800 megabyte FIFA 17 update 1.07 is now available today on Xbox One and Playstation 4, and while it doesn’t have much to begin with, the update will at least help to improve a number of different parts of the game that haven’t been fixed since the game came out in September.
To start with, the update addressed a number of issues with the game’s FIFA Ultimate Team mechanic. In that mechanic, players could pick from a roster of high-tier soccer players to make what they thought of as the ultimate team. With FIFA 17 update 1.07, players have been given an option to reverse-sort players from their Club to get a better experience in Squad Building Challenges.
The other main fix that came with FIFA 17 update 1.07 is a number of visual and presentation changes. These changes helped to fix over 1200 two-dimensional player images, and also updated the FIFA World Cup Champions Badge to appear on the various kits of your players, whether they’re at home, away, alternate and goalkeeper kits.
With news that FIFA 17 was one of the best-selling titles from EA Sports this past year, hopefully the next game will be just as good when it comes to gameplay (and hopefully, if they go for a story mode to add to the campaign this time, they’ll improve on that as well). To see these changes for yourself, you can find them at the official Playstation blog.
