Horizon: Zero Dawn Day One Patch Details Shared By Guerrilla
The game will release in few days and Guerrilla Games has shared more details on Horizon: Zero Dawn day one patch. This patch is 250MB and it adds the Performance mode for PlayStation 4 Pro, that will let you play at 1080p with a more stable framerate. This mode can be used both with Full HD and 4K Tvs.
Even if Horizon: Zero Dawn is one week from its release, some people have been discussing the possibility of a sequel. Even Guerrilla Games has talked about it as senior producer Angela Gillespie said that Aloy might not be the protagonist of the next game.
I think Aloy will always be a part of Horizon: Zero Dawn, but as you might have seen, there are a lot of interesting characters and tribes in the game, and we have a rich history.
We’ve spent years developing these tribes, so there is a possibility for other characters in the future to be the protagonists, but Aloy will always remain in Horizon: Zero Dawn.
Horizon: Zero Dawn features an impressive weather system and, according to the devs, it should have included random lightning strikes. But these elements were excluded from the final version since the team felt it was unfair.
We had some prototypes, for example, we had some lightning strikes that would randomly hit enemies or randomly hit the player. But we thought it was unfair because you have no control over it, it just naturally happens and suddenly you have a lot of damage. So we decided to exclude it from the game.
Horizon: Zero Dawn is an open-world action videogame by Guerrilla Games that is scheduled to launch on February 28, 2017, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
