Final Fantasy VII Remake Voice Recording For Main Story Is Almost Done
Since the reveal Square Enix has not revealed much about the upcoming Final Fantasy VII remake except concept art, screenshots and recently a key visual for the game was revealed. While we don’t have a clue when the game will launch, it seems that we might not have to wait long as producer Yoshinori Kitase has revealed that the voice work for Final Fantasy VII remake is almost done.
In an interview with Dengeki PlayStation(via Gematsu), Yoshinori Kitase confirmed that voice recording for the game is almost done. Also, it is important to note that he might be referencing to the episode one, as the game will be released in multiple titles.
A remake of Final Fantasy VII required substantial preparedness,” Kitase told Dengeki PlayStation. “The voice actors have almost finished voice recording of the main story. Fans may have the image of the Cloud from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, but since this is the ‘prime’ Cloud from before Advent Children, the performance may feel fresh.
While it is good news for fans but Square Enix has already noted that Final Fantasy VII remake will take a while because of Kingdom Hearts 3. According to game director, the development on the game is going very well and explained that due to some added work of the development for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III fans will have to wait a while for Final Fantasy VII remake.
Final Fantasy VII remake is an action RPG in development at Square Enix and will launch exclusively for PlayStation 4.
