If a recent leak is any indication, it looks like the upcoming Asus ZenBook Pro might be one hell of a laptop in terms of not only specifications but also design.
According to the leak, the Asus ZenBook Pro will feature a 15.6 inch 4K and an almost bezel-less display for an ultra sleek look. The entire laptop is also expected to be built using aluminum for an amazing build quality.
It seems like Asus is trying to rival Dell’s latest XPS lineup but instead of going with a 2-in-1 approach, they are going more towards a high-end hardware powered notebook.
In other specifications, the Asus ZenBook Pro will most probably feature an Intel Kaby Lake H series processor which means it will not a quad-core CPU which is kind of a letdown especially in today’s market and looking at the competition.
Thankfully, the rumors of a Nvidia GTX GPU and a large amount of memory somewhat dulls that blow. It isn’t clear whether the GPU will be a Nvidia GTX 1000 series or a 900 series.
As for storage, it is expected that users will have the option to get the laptop with a 512GB PCIe SSD although it is unclear whether they will be able to upgrade it later or not by swapping out the drive.
No other information regarding the customization options for the laptop are available yet which means it is unclear if the display will be locked to 4K or will interested users be able to buy one with just a 1080p display with a reduced price tag.
There is no wording on the expected price of the machine or a launch date but the upcoming MWC 2017 Trade Show should clear those questions as the Asus ZenBook Pro is rumored to make an appearance during the event.
