Rumors regarding the Apple iPhone 8 started even before the unveiling of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Rumors are still pouring in and one rumor claims that the Apple iPhone 8 will have the same amount of RAM as compared to the iPhone 7 Plus but will have different storage configurations.
It seems that there will be no 32 GB model for the Apple iPhone 8 and there will only be 64 GB and 256 GB variants.

While there is a bright side to this as many people want to get higher storage versions anywhere but then there are people that cannot afford, or do not want to play a premium for more storage and are fine with the base version. I for one am perfectly fine with the base model and find 32 GB to be plenty for what I do with my phone.
Though I do not take many pictures or record long videos and have only the necessary apps on my device and you might be into photography and video making with your iPhone. It was just recently that Apple decided to double the storage on their devices and I think that 256 GB is a bit of a stretch.
Even if you are a heavy duty user, 256 GB seems to be a bit much for a smartphone. Unless you are recording video in 4K it is highly unlikely that you will be filling up that space anytime soon.
This is just a rumor and there is still a lot of time before the Apple iPhone 8 comes out which means that even though if this is true for right now, there is a lot that can change during now and the actual release of the Apple iPhone 8.
Let us know what you think about this rumor and whether or not you think people would be interested in getting a 256 GB version.
