Last year Bethesda said that almost two games were being developed by them at the time, but nothing more has been said about it. However, Todd Howard is back with new information and, according to him, the games Bethesda is working on are now three.
This is what he has said to Glixel in a recent interview:
We are already working on a good number of projects. We’re bigger now [than in the past] and we do want to be releasing new hot stuff. We have two larger projects that are more classically the scale of what we do, but even bigger. We overlap the projects so we’re working on them at the same time, but they’re staggered. I can’t say anything specific about them, but I can say that they’re bigger than anything we’ve ever done. They’re a bit different, but definitely in the wheelhouse that people are used to from us.
Are they working on the new The Elder Scrolls chapter? We don’t know, but we are curious to know more about these projects.
Bethesda will be partnering with Nintendo for The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Special Edition portable. A lot of people are happy because of this release and folks at Bethesda have been praising the console since its announcement, however they’re not sure if it will be a success.
During a chat with Gamespot, Bethesda’s game director, Todd Howard, has said that Nintendo Switch is a smart move from Nintendo and it is something that only Nintendo can make. But in the end they don’t know where the console is going, even if they like it a lot.
Nintendo Switch will launch on March 3rd, 2017, worldwide.
