Overwatch And Battleborn Devs To Go Head To Head In Quake Tournament
We all want to know if the people who develop our beloved are good just as good at playing them as they are a developing it. While we might not get to see the skills of all game developers but come this Thursday we will get see some developers where we might see Overwatch’s game director, Jeff Kaplan, and Battleborn’s Randy Pitchford to head to head in Quake Tournament at DICE.
During DICE 2017, London-based eSports organizers are organizing their second annual Quake tournament. If they get drawn together, we might see Randy Pitchford and Jeff Kaplan to against each other in a 1v1 in QuakeWorld. However, there will be other developers from Bandai Namco, id Software, Insomniac Games and more who will be competing in the tournament.

Each of the devs will compete in a series of 1v1 matches in QuakeWorld. QuakeWorld is an update of the 1996 shooter, Quake. The tournament will start on DICE’s main stage and opening matches will be played on Wednesday, February 22.
Speaking of Quake, id Software is working on new Quake game called, Quake Champions which is a PC exclusive title.
According to Bethesda, Quake Champions is strictly a PC game. This strongly suggests that we may never see a console version.
Quake Champions is an upcoming first-person shooter in development at id Software and Bethesda is yet to announce the release window for the game.
