Nvidia Released GeForce Hotfix 378.72, Available Now For Download

The latest Hotfix fixes a number of known and reported issues that includes fixing a bug related to video encoding of Steam’s in-Home streaming. Fixes a known issues of PhysX , which earlier was not enabled on the GPU under certain conditions. Hotfix 378.72 fixes the bugs that were intended in Hotfix 378.66.

The Hotfix 378.72 is available in Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. The official highlights listed at its official page are:

  • Fixed hardware encoding in Steam (In-Home Streaming).
  • Resolved PhysX being forced to CPU when “Optimize for Compute Performance” setting is OFF.

Nvidia’s latest Hotfix 378.72 is intended for following supported graphics cards:
