Kusarigama Master
REQUIREMENT: Acquired mystic art for the kusarigama

Becoming a Kusarigama Master is not easy, in order to get this trophy you first need to reach the Sekigahara Region and complete the Immortal Flame Main mission. Once you are done, this will unlock new missions in the dojo that will help you obtain weapon based mystic arts.

Each weapon type requires 500K proficiency to unlock the mystic art for it. Get 500K points to unlock the dojo mission and complete it before buying the mystic art with skill points.

The best way to farm proficiency points is by completing the main storyline and coming back via the newgame+ mode.

Keep in mind that maximum proficiency number is 100 million for each weapon. However, the game will keep counting in the background when you go past that number.

In the newgame+ mode, the drop rate is higher for divine items which makes this process a lot easier compared to your first playthrough.

Since the enemies now also have a higher level, they give a massive boost to proficiency points. The higher the mission level, the more points you can get. Consider newgame+ missions are proficiency points multipliers.

Here’s a tip, keep facing the Onryoki boss but allow him to kill you before his HP runs out. Death won’t result in loss of points.
