Horizon Zero Dawn Performance Is Solid On Playstation 4 And Pro, 30 FPS

The Horizon Zero Dawn performance on Playstation 4 and Playstation 4 Pro are apparently very solid at 30 frames per second with no slowdown.

Apparently, Guerrilla Games has made certain that Horizon Zero Dawn performance is going to be solid on the Playstation 4 when the game comes out. The game, according to Reddit user Lordridude, is very solid technically, running at a rock solid 30 FPS with no slowdown, even on the Playstation 4 Pro.

The 30 FPS is likely going to be the breaker on a number of people; after all, a lot of people bought Playstation 4 and Playstation 4 Pro consoles in order to get rid of the 30 FPS lock by taking advantage of the arguably better tech that’s on the Playstation 4 and Playstation 4 Pro, but at least the Horizon Zero Dawn performance is solid on both.

In addition to the game’s performance, however, Lordridude also did a breakdown of the game’s sidequests, talking about what they do for the game both in terms of collectibles and the lore they give you, and through regular old sidequests that are the norm in any open-world game, with both of them apparently not being too intrusive.

When it comes to the game’s difficulty, Horizon apparently isn’t going to be too difficult unless you actually want a challenge; Easy and Medium difficulties are apparently not too difficult, with healing herbs in ample supply, but that doesn’t mean that you can just try and smash yourself against bosses; boss fights are going to differ in difficulty depending on the sorts of tactics you use, which could likely stretch anywhere from stealth to distance or any other method.

Either way, with the tech that gives Horizon Zero Dawn performance the proper stability to run so smoothly, it’s likely that the game will be able to run very well on its platforms and will be able to continue the graphical quality that Guerrilla Games has become known for with its Killzone games.
