Bethesda Game Studios Has Seven Projects In The Works
Bethesda Game Studios, the in-house development studio at Bethesda Softworks, has been very silent about its upcoming projects other than Fallout 4 VR. Now, director Todd Howard has revealed that Bethesda Game Studios has 7 projects in the works.
Speaking with IGN, Howard said that all the projects are in various stages of development at Bethesda Game Studios. These seven projects include the already announced Fallout 4 VR, Skyrim for Nintendo Switch and a new mobile title. He added that the new mobile title will follow in the steps of Fallout Shelter.
When Fallout 4 VR was announced many were worried that it would be a complete experience and according to Todd Howard himself, the VR version of Fallout 4 will be a complete experience.
Fallout is going great. There’s a lot of work to be done, but it’s super exciting. We are doing the whole game. You can play it start to finish right now, and the whole thing really works in terms of interface and everything.
He also talked about the challenges the team has to face porting a game designed as a first-person-shooter to a virtual reality environment. He added that the game works and feels very good in VR thanks to its V.A.T.S and Pip-Boy systems.
