With Ubisoft’s upcoming game For Honor coming out tomorrow, Ubisoft has released a large amount of For Honor pre-launch info that shows players what times the game’s servers will officially unlock, and what the download size will be for the game when it releases. The game is supposed to arrive on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
Through all the promotion it’s gotten, not to mention the multiple successful beta periods it’s gone through, For Honor will likely have a very active scene when it releases tomorrow, provided the Ubisoft servers can handle all of the players and all the other kinds of stress that’s going to be coming with the release of a freshly-launched game.
Anyway, depending on your platform, the For Honor pre-launch info says that the download for the actual For Honor game will be anywhere from 31 gigabytes to 37 gigabytes. Pre-loading is now available for consoles everywhere (except for Japanese Playstation 4s).
If you’re buying a physical copy of For Honor, the servers for you to start playing the game will be opening at 12:01 PM Pacific Standard Time, 3:01 Eastern Standard Time, or 9:01 Central Time today (though unless you have some quirk of the post office that gets you the game early you won’t be able to play). If you bought the game digitally, and have it pre-loaded (which you should to cut down on wait times), you won’t be able to play the game until the servers unlock at 12:01 local time tomorrow, February 14, Valentine’s Day.
Nearly 3 million people played the final For Honor beta in its first 24 hours, and the very first Faction War period led to the Legions, the Knights faction, apparently claiming the most territory, so with the game about to truly begin, all of this For Honor pre-launch info should help you know when the game will open up to be played.
