For Honor – Blocking as Peacekeeper
Blocking as Peacekeeper is a tad advanced as compared to other heroes.
The rule of simply pointing the right analogue stick in the direction of an incoming (up, left, right) does not apply to Peacekeeper. As mentioned earlier, blocking as Peacekeeper is a little complicated.
In order to execute a successful block, you need to press the right analogue stick after moving it in the direction of an incoming attack.
It’s important that you do it before the attack connects. You should’ve ample time to do so properly!
For Honor Peacekeeper Special Attack – Deflecting
Deflecting is easily one of the Peacekeeper’s many strengths and is pretty simple to execute.
When executed at a proper time, deflecting as Peacekeeper allows you to successfully carry out a Riposting Stab which causes the Bleeding effect. As mentioned earlier, deflecting as Peacekeeper is fairly simple.
In order to do so, dodge in the direction of an incoming attack – before it actually connects – and immediately press the Light Attack button.
For Honor Peacekeeper Special Attack – Inflicting Bleeding
Inflicting Bleeding Effect as Peacekeeper causes her opponents to gradually lose HP for a fixed duration of time.
You should easily be able to notice a change in your opponent’s HP when the Bleeding Effect is active. The red bar basically denotes the total amount of bleeding damage and the white line denotes the depleting HP.
For Honor Peacekeeper Abilities – Triple Stab
After landing a successful Guard Break, you’re presented with a couple of options.
The first option is to throw like other heroes and the second option is to land a Stab which is done by pressing the Light Attack button. As soon as the first stab lands, press the button again to land a second and a third stab.
It goes without saying that landing all three stabs is difficult, but with practice, you should be able to do just fine.
Finally, it’s important to note that you don’t always have to go to three stabs and can always stop at one or two. If you want to mix things up, you can always go with a usual throw after a couple of stabs.
For Honor Peacekeeper Abilities – Dashing Thrust
This is easily Peacekeeper’s one of the best attacks that has a long reach and can inflict Bleeding.
However, one important thing that you need to note is that Dashing Thrust is a fairly linear attack and can be dodged by sidestepping to any direction. If you continue to mix things up, you should easily be able to keep your opponents confused.
As mentioned earlier, you can easily inflict Bleeding using Dashing Thrust.
In order to do so, you need to press the Light Attack button as soon as Dashing Thrust connects and even transition into a Triple Stab. As long as you’re mixing different things up, you should be good to go.
For Honor Peacekeeper Abilities – Sidestep Strike
Sidestep Strike is another good tool at Peacekeeper’s disposal.
In For Honor, you can sidestep almost any attack in the game. Even if you sidestep into an attack, you should be able to avoid receiving damage and maybe able to land a successful deflection.
Moreover, you can also inflict Bleeding by immediately pressing the Light Attack button after the Sidestep Strike connects.
For Honor Peacekeeper Abilities – Dagger Cancel
When at close range, Peacekeeper can cancel her Heavy Attack into a Light Attack and inflicting Bleeding.
This is one of the best tools at Peacekeeper’s disposal if you wish to finish off an opponent or to keep him/her confused. In order to execute this simple yet effective tool, you need to quickly press the Light Attack button after pressing the Heavy Attack button.
For Honor Peacekeeper Abilities – Zone Attack Cancel
Peacekeeper is the game can cancel the Zone Attack to force her opponents into blocking and going in with a Guard Block.
However, one important thing that you need to keep in mind is stamina. Since the Zone Attack drains about 50% of your hero’s stamina, you don’t want to go in without any stamina and outplay yourself.
For Honor Peacekeeper Counters and Match-Ups
Since the hero has high mobility, you can’t expect to win with a flurry of attacks. She’s weak against Kensei, Nobushi, and Warlord. She’s, however, pretty strong against Orochi and Conqueror.
It’s highly recommended that you always keep the Peacekeeper at an arm’s length since she doesn’t have a whole lot of range. Do note that the only gap-closer at Peacekeeper’s disposal is her Dashing Thrust attack.
This is a fairly linear attack and can easily be avoided by dodging to either side or by blocking.
If you force her to whiff her Dashing Thrust, you would leave her for quite some time and give yourself the opportunity to deal a massive amount of damage in no time.
Since stabbing is Peacekeeper’s one of the most effective tools in combat, you need to avoid it to the best of your abilities.
If you, somehow, get stabbed, make sure to back off immediately or prevent a follow-up Guard Break. You simply don’t want to get tripled stabbed to death. In conclusion, don’t get reckless and find opportunities to win this match-up.
