Nintendo Switch will launch in less than a month with a number of launch tiltes. Nintendo has partnered with dozens of third party publishers and Take Two Interactive is one of them and they are really excited for Nintendo Switch.
During a recent earnings call for the company, Take-Two CEO Strauss H Zelnick revealed that the company is really excited for the hybrid console.
We’re excited about Switch. We’re supporting Switch with NBA 2K18. We’ve said we’re supporting the platform. I’ve said over and over again that when Nintendo comes to market you never want to count them out.
So, we’re excited about it. The only thing we’ve announced so far is the basketball title.
Whether or not a GTA title would ever come to Nintendo Switch is still unknown and the only Grand Theft Auto game to release for a Nintendo console was Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, which launched on DS in 2009.
Nintendo is using Nvidia’s Tegra processor for its upcoming console and now the company has revealed why it chose Nvidia’s technology over others. Nintendo technology head, Genyo Takeda, explained that PC is a major gaming device and Nvidia has played an important role in that and the reason they chose Nvidia for Nintendo Switch was to bring PC-like high-performance for the console with minimum power consumption.
He also added that Nintendo Switch uses a custom-built Nvidia Tegra Processor, and it was a top priority for the company.
Nintendo Switch will launch on March 7, 2017, and will be priced at $299.99 in the US with Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild being one of many launch titles for the console.
