The For Honor open beta is set to go live later today, ahead of the game’s full release next week. The pre load for For Honor open beta has been live for the past few days giving those interested, a chance to download the 20GB game ahead of time.
Ubisoft has also released the exact times at which the For Honor open beta will go live for each region and players will be able to dive in and when the beta will end
GMT – 2PM Februry 9 – 1AM February 13
CET – 3PM Februry 9 – 2AM February 13
EST – 9AM February 9 – 8PM February 12
PST – 6AM February 9 – 5PM February 12
Similar to the closed beta held late last month, the For Honor open beta will once again allow players to choose from 9 different characters to play with, while the other 3; Valkyrie, Lawbringer and Shoguki will once again be unavailable as the development team still works on balancing them.
Thankfully, the game will launch on 14th February for PS4, PC and Xbox One with the full 12 character roster that has been advertised before.
Ubisoft recently released the minimum and recommended system requirements for the game for those who are interested in purchasing it on PC.
For Honor allows players to choose between Samurai, Vikings or Knights faction as they battle in various PvP modes to gain loot and points which can be spent in the War of Factions meta-game that happens to be cross-platform.
While the game’s DLC will be free, there is a season pass which allows early access to new characters as well as other benefits like boosters.
The For Honor open beta will include give multiplayer modes as well as a custom lobby system where friends can fight each other with their own ruleset. The modes in public matchmaking will include 4v4, 2v2 and 1v1 modes so potential buyers can test out all types of gameplay. The story campaign of the game will however not be present.
