Final Fantasy XV Scorpio Release Could Happen But No Confirmation Yet
During an interview with Dualshockers, the game’s director Hajime Tabata talked about Final Fantasy XV Scorpio.
According to his words, the team is considering a Scorpio version of the game as they are thinking on what kind of implementations could be made to make this game as great as possible. So, there’s more than a mere possibility of a Scorpio release for FFXV.
He has also talked about the game coming to PC, saying he would like to see it running on high-end devices.
I’d like to release the game on PC as a technical attempt. I want to show users what Final Fantasy XV can do if running on high-end machines, and we personally would like to see it too. Also, I would like to try developing on PC to create a very unique way of playing with PC-exclusive features like making your own quests and a stuff like that. Even things like mod would be great.
Final Fantasy XV’s development went on for almost 12 years, but it seems that Square-Enix has hit the jackpot with it. The company, in fact, has stated that Final Fantasy XV broke its development cost on day one (it sold more than 5 million copies).
A very good result for Square-Enix.
However, would you like Final Fantasy XV Scorpio to release? What kind of features would you love to see in this version?
Final Fantasy XV is an RPG developed by Square-Enix for PS4 and Xbox One.
