Square Enix is currently working on Final Fantasy XV avatar creation system for the game’s multiplayer component.
Speaking with Dualshockers, game director, Hajime Tabata, shared the first look at the Final Fantasy XV avatar creation system and also shared some thoughts on how the system works in the current build.
Right now, the current stage of development lets you change the character and morph it into another character that looks very different. We want to implement it so that you can use them in single player as well, although this is something usually made for multiplayer.
The site was also shown Final Fantasy XV avatar creation system in action, a screenshot of it you can see below. The system seems to be in early development and lacks a lot of features as there are only sliders to adjust the Height, Face Size and Muscle Definition.
This year we will see the full reveal and release of Xbox One Scorpio and many fans are hoping for Final Fantasy XV being released for the upcoming system. According to game director, the game could release for Scorpio and the team is currently considering it, however, he can’t promise anything.
According to the game director, he would love to see Final Fantasy XV running on a high-end PC and he would only bring the game to PC only as a technical attempt.
I’d like to release the game on PC as a technical attempt. I want to show users what Final Fantasy XV can do if running on high-end machines, and we personally would like to see it too. Also, I would like to try developing on PC to create a very unique way of playing with PC-exclusive features like making your own quests and a stuff like that. Even things like mod would be great.
Final Fantasy XV is an open-world action adventure game developed by Square Enix for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
