Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered update 1.08 is now finally available on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC. In addition to a variety of fixes in the game, the update will also add new content to the depot, along with new bounties that have camo sets, melee weapons, and more.
The update is 1.85 gigabytes, and has managed to cram a lot into that amount of data. To start with, we have the weapon kit collection bounties mentioned above. There are four kits in question: Huntsman, Czar, Lawman, and Battle-Scarred, and each one is dedicated to a specific weapon, whether it’s the shotgun for the Lawman, a sniper rifle for the Huntsman, a Light Machine Gun for the Czar, and an SMG for Battle-Scarred.
Next we have two melee weapon sets in Modern Warfare Remastered update 1.08. The first is the Gladiator weapon set, where players equip the Gladius sword made famous by the Roman Empire. The other option is the Hatchetman, where you get a straight-up axe to kill people with.
The update also has new calling cards, new camo options, new emblem sets, and new reticule variants to work with while you play to make your soldier look how you want them to. The update also gives out three new weapons: the Kamchatka-12 shotgun, the XM-LAR assault rifle, and the classic .44 Magnum.
In addition to all of this cool new stuff, Modern Warfare Remastered update 1.08 features expanded Arctic Wolf content, along with spawn improvements, a fix to Collateral Damage, making C4 stick to helicopters, making Environmental and Melee Kill stats not reset when you Prestige, fixing collision issues on multiple maps, and more.
If you want to see the entirety of Modern Warfare Remastered update 1.08 for yourself, you can head over to the official Playstation blog post of it. Otherwise, you can now download the update and start playing no matter what platform you’re on.
