Lords of the Fallen Mobile Version Releasing For iOS On 9th February, No Date For Android Yet

CI games has confirmed that Lords of the Fallen mobile version will be launching on 9th February on iOS after more than 2 years of development.

Lords of the Fallen mobile version was first announced back in late 2014 for iOS and Android, although there is no word on when the Android version of the game will launch.

While the game may share the same name as the PC and console version of the Action RPG from the same company, CI Games’ CEO Marek Tyminski had confirmed long ago that this version is not a port of the main game and is instead a “brand new” experience.

It should be noted that Lords of the Fallen mobile version isn’t a sequel either as a proper sequel game has also been announced for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Lords of the Fallen 2 will however not be developed by Deck 13 Interactive, who worked alongside CI games on the first game.

Set in the same universe as the base game, this mobile title will allow players to choose from three different playable characters with their own unique playstyle in a quest to defeat enemies in the Keystone Monastery.

CI Games has also released a new trailer for the game to go alongside the release date announcement. Lords of the Fallen mobile version was originally expected to launch in 2015 but CI Games had been pretty quiet regarding its development, leading many to believe that the project might have been cancelled since there was no update for months.

Judging from the trailer, the game will feature a lot of combat mechanics from the main game such as parrying and dodging attacks.

The original Lords of the Fallen, released in October 2014, was met with mixed response with many criticizing the way it tried to mimic the Dark Souls franchise with its gameplay.
