He added that of the 70%, part of the devs is working on the updates for the game, part is working on the DLCs and part of the devs is working on the VR experience based on Final Fantasy XV.

This shows the Square Enix’s dedication to the game and it also bodes well for the quality of the upcoming DLCs.

Hajime Tabata also added that the team plans to support the game as long as possible but currently the studio has planned a year of content for Final Fantasy XV.

Square is a vast and beautiful open-world game but fans were somewhat disappointed that players can’t take control of Regalia instead it is just auto-piloted to the desired destination. However, Square Enix has confirmed the off-road Regalia that will allow players to freely drive around in the world, but it’s still in development and is currently unknown when it will arrive.

Final Fantasy XV is an open world action-adventure game developed by Square Enix for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
