Warner Bros Teasing New Batman Arkham Title?
Batman Arkham franchise is one of the most popular game franchises based on the comics and it seems that Warner Bros intends to maintain its dominance with a new Batman Arkham title.
Rumors have emerged suggesting that Warner Bros might be revealing new Batman Arkham title in March. The rumors have started from a Tweet from IGN France asking gamers to save the date on March 8, 2017.
The tweet does not outright says that is Warner Bros will be revealing the next Batman game, but one can’t help but notice that the text font and color scheme is reminiscent of title cards for past Arkham games. Furthermore, save the date phrasing had been used to hype the previous Batman titles.
According to the speculations, the new Batman Arkham title might be developed by Warner Bros Montreal as the studio previously developed the Batman: Arkham Origins. Also, this falls in line with a previous leak from WB Montreal itself, where the studio leaked their upcoming Batman game through their recruiting video.
Given that WB Montreal developed Batman Arkham Origins it comes as no surprise that the studio might be working on a new Batman game.
Also, the last game in the Batman franchise, Arkham Knight, launched in 2015 and with Rocksteady moving away from this franchise, WB Montreal seems to be the best candidate for the new Batman title.
Is it a new Batman Arkham game? is the question that can only be answered by Warner Bros and it seems we will have to wait until March 8 to know for sure.
