Final Fantasy XV players have been waiting for Square Enix to launch the PS4 Pro patch that will make the game run at a steady 60 FPS and now the studio has dated the Final Fantasy XV PS4 Pro patch that will add 60 FPS/1080p support for the game.
During the Active Time Report, game director Hajime Tabata announced that the Final Fantasy XV PS4 Pro patch will be coming on February 21. The patch will include the following improvements.
- 1080p/60 FPS support For PS4 Pro
- Time-limited quests.
- Level cap raise to 120
- 200 pictures will be the limit instead of 150
- Players will be able to own a chocobo.
- Players will be able to use a music player.
Hajime Tabata noted that the PlayStation 4 Pro patch will feature FPS up to 60 FPS, meaning that you can experience FPS drops, however, he assured that mostly the FPS will be 60.
He also revealed a new trailer, which you can see above, for the upcoming Final Fantasy XV DLC that will feature Gladio and Prompto as playable characters.
However, this is not the only update for Final Fantasy XV that will be bringing new content as previously, the game director said that the devs will be making significant changes to Chapter 13 in the future.
Also, Hajime Tabata recently revealed that the VR content for Final Fantasy XV is coming along nicely there is still time before the team could announce the release date. He also added that he would release the game for PC only for technical purposes and said that he wants to show the game running on high-end systems.
