Final Fantasy XV launched with great critical and financial success but Square Enix is not stopping there, as the studio has announced new Final Fantasy titles are in development.
During the Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Opening Ceremony, series brand manager, Shinji Hashimoto, confirmed that new Final Fantasy XV titles are in development.
Of course there are new titles in production. This event was a ceremony to raise the curtain on the 30th anniversary, in other words an ‘opening ceremony.’ We’re preparing various projects from hereon. We’re preparing some announcements— and not just limited to home games.
Previously, Square Enix revealed the Final Fantasy VII Remake key visual during the Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Opening Ceremony, but no further details were revealed.
Also, a remake of Final Fantasy VII is in the works for quite some time and according to game director Tetsuya Nomura, it will take a while before the game releases.
He assured that the development on the game is going very well and explained that due to some added work of the development for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III fans will have to wait a while for Final Fantasy VII remake.
Final Fantasy VII remake is an action RPG in development at Square Enix and will launch exclusively for PlayStation 4.
