AMD AM4 motherboards will support the upcoming AMD Ryzen CPUs and it seems that details regarding AMD AM4 motherboards from Asus and Gigabyte have been released online. though there is no embargo date on the slides I am sure that these were not made public intentionally. This seems to be part of a presentation that was made earlier.

We can see from the AMD AM4 motherboards presentation that Asus has a serious lineup of AMD AM4 motherboards. These will come with all kinds of features like Aura RGB, USB 3.1 support and be compatible with M.2 SSDs.
The top of the line AMD AM4 motherboard that will have all these features is the Crosshair VI Hero. There is also a Prime Asus X370, which will be a mid-range motherboard with will support overclocking. As a bug selling point of AMD Ryzen is that it will have overclocking headroom, it makes sense that this feature is there even on mid-range motherboards, at least from Asus.
Asus is one of the well-known motherboard manufacturers in the industry and I am sure that if the company has taken this step then more will follow in the same footsteps as well. We also have some AMD AM4 motherboards from Gigabyte and while the models have not been specified we can see that there are some similar features as compared to what we see on the Asus side of things. There is even an app that will allow users to control the lighting effects on the motherboard. That is something cool.
AMD Ryzen CPUs will be coming out in March, we can expect these motherboards to be hitting the shelves by then. It will be interesting to see what kind of a splash these CPUs will make in the CPUs market and what kind of performance they will offer as compared to Intel Kaby Lake products. Let us know what you think.
